Looking for a great mountain bike that won’t break the bank? Then look no further than the REI Co-op Cycles DRT 3.1.

This entry-level model from REI was designed to provide beginners and experienced riders alike with an affordable way to explore the outdoors on two wheels. Read on for our full review of this budget mountain bike.

The REI Co-op Cycles DRT 3.1 is an entry level mountain bike designed for beginner riders who don’t have the cash to invest in higher end models but still want a nice ride.

The frame is aluminum, so it’s lightweight and easy to handle, while the 26” wheels give you much better control when you’re maneuvering around inclines, rocks and roots.

The 1×12 Shimano drivetrain makes shifting easy, and the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are incredibly powerful and responsive – making them great for fast descents.

The suspension fork with 120mm of travel helps absorb harsh terrain and smooth out your rides, while the WTB saddle gives great all day comfort – even if you’re stuck in the saddle climbing up steep hills.

The biggest drawback is that this model doesn’t come with pedals included – but that’s a minor issue compared to everything else this bike offers at such an affordable price point.

In conclusion, we highly recommend this bike for anyone looking for an affordable way to get into riding trails or exploring backcountry roads.

The quality components make it a reliable choice that you can be sure will last for many years as your skills progress over time!
