This means that the frame is thick and thin in spots but still maintaining the strength and integrity of the frame. Upfront, you’ll find a Crest 34 suspension fork with 130 millimeters of travel and a 1-1/8”-1-1/2” overdrive head tube. Additionally, the head tube at a 66-degree angle coupled with a 75-degree seat tube angle has been engineered to give you the confidence and control you need for technical descents and steep climbs.

The frame is designed with three options for bottle mounts on the top and underside of the downtube giving you plenty of choices for gear and water bottles if you decide to take this bike on a longer adventure. The frame also has an integrated headset, and the cables are routed on
the inside of the bike’s downtube, this not only looks smoother but it makes the bike easier to service. The handlebar gives you a relatively wide stance with a diameter of 35 millimeters and holds a width of 780 millimeters. The Giant 2022 Fathom 1 has Tektro Orion 4 piston hydraulic
disc brakes that have a smooth feel when it comes to slowing the bike down.

tires measure in at 2.5 inches with Maxxis Minion DHF, 29×2.5 on the front with solid tread blocks, and in the rear, you’ll find the Maxxis Aggressor 29×2.5 which has great side knobs and is pretty fast rolling.
